The only time we can really tell when real estate has peaked or when it has hit rock bottom is once it has already happened. Timing the market rarely works well for people. Working on what is important to your timeframe is much more valuable.

Is the market going up or is it going to crash?

The 3 main categories where homes can be seen for sale are 1) Northwest Multiple Listing Service (or NWMLS). That is the tool that agents use to share information about homes with one another. 2) 3rd party sites like Zillow or 3) brokerage sites like Redfin, Windermere, and John L Scott. We want to make sure that no matter where a buyer might be looking for homes online (because everyone has a different preference for their search tools) that they have an opportunity to see your home for sale.

Where will my home be listed for sale?

We want to make sure that your home is ready before we launch it on the market. That can include small work like painting or landscaping, up to bigger projects like replacing a roof. A home needs to have good curb appeal to maximize its market value. Things like staging can help with that. Curb appeal online is just as important as in-person in today’s market. Having great professional photos and high-definition 3d tours ensures good online activity.

What needs to happen before a home can be listed?
