Skagit County added 92 new listings to the market in November 2023, a decrease of 15.6 % compared to November 2022, when 109 new listings were added.
There were 96 total residential units & condo units under contract in November 2023, an overall drop of 16.5% compared to November 2022.
As for closed sales, November of 2023 saw only 90 homes sold whereas November of 2022 had 118 closings, a decrease of 23.7%.
Taking a swing in the opposite direction, home prices gained dramatically over the past year. This November’s median price was $572,500 compared to last November’s $489,500, a 17% increase. The increase in home prices is due in part to the reduced inventory of homes available on the market.
